Give localhost a real URL.

A public HTTPS address for anything running on your machine — a dev server, a self-hosted app, a webhook receiver — at a stable subdomain you choose under hostanywhere.io.

No port forwarding, no public IP, no certificates to manage. The agent only dials out — it works behind NAT and CGNAT.

Two fields. That's the setup.

From the dashboard, click + Expose a Service and fill in:

myapp→ https://myapp.hostanywhere.io
localhost:3000where traffic should go on your machine
🌐Visitorhttps://myapp.hostanywhere.io
→HTTPS
🛡Relay
→outbound tunnel from your agent
💻Your machinelocalhost:3000

The agent dials out — nothing to open on your router, works behind CGNAT.

Exposing a local web app to the internet, step by step:

A URL that behaves like infrastructure

Stable subdomainsYour chosen name under hostanywhere.io — the same URL every day
Automatic HTTPSValid, managed TLS certificates — nothing to configure or renew
Multiple servicesExpose several from the same machine, one tunnel and URL each
Works anywhereBehind NAT and CGNAT — the agent only dials out
Free to start3 public services on the Free plan; custom domains on Developer+
Part of a platformWorks standalone — and grows into the private network, backup and AI features when you want them
Understand what becomes public: anyone with the URL can reach the exposed service — HostAnywhere provides the public route, your application still enforces its own authentication. Don't expose databases, admin panels, or internal APIs without protection in front. The URL works while your machine is online and the service is running, and public traffic flows through HostAnywhere's relay to reach your machine — that's the mechanism that avoids opening your router.

No network required. Really.

Exposing a service works on its own — install the agent, point it at a local port, done. You don't need to set up the private network between your devices unless you want it. (If you do, it's one page over.)

Questions

How many public services do I get for free?

3 on the Free plan — each service gets its own HTTPS URL. Developer raises that to 25, Team to 100, Enterprise is unlimited. See pricing.

Do I need to configure my router or have a public IP?

No. The agent only makes outbound connections — nothing to open, works behind NAT and CGNAT.

Is HTTPS included?

Yes — every subdomain lands on *.hostanywhere.io with a valid TLS certificate automatically. No certificate setup, no renewal.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes — custom domains are part of the Developer plan and above.

Does my machine need to stay on?

Yes — the URL forwards to the service on your machine, so it's reachable while that machine is online and the service is running.

Can I expose more than one service from the same machine?

Yes — as many as your plan allows, one tunnel per service, each with its own subdomain.

Do I need the private network for this?

No — this feature works standalone. The private network between your devices is separate; use it if you also want your devices reaching each other directly.

Your app deserves better than localhost:3000.

Install the agent, pick a subdomain, point it at a port.
