Connect every device you own through one secure private network — then use it to run your own backup, private AI, internet exit and more, on hardware you control.
Mac · Windows · Linux · iPhone · Android — one agent, every device.
Install the agent and each device gets a stable private address. Your devices reach services on each other across different routers, carriers, or continents — zero configuration, and Access Control decides who reaches what. Your phone in a hotel talks to your desktop at home as if they shared a desk.
Peer-to-peer when possible, relay-assisted when needed — relays can't read your traffic.
A private network between your devices is the foundation. What it's for is taking back the cloud services you pay for every month — one at a time, with hardware already sitting in your house:
Your old PC is your iCloud. Photos, contacts, calendars — encrypted on the phone, stored on your computer, from anywhere.
Back up your phone → Run AI without a subscriptionYour gaming PC is your AI server. Open models on your hardware, a ChatGPT-style chat from every device.
Run your own AI → Your own VPN exitA personal VPN that exits through hardware you control. Your home connection, everywhere you go.
Take your connection with you →One API for all your AI — providers, local models, tools and agents behind one governed endpoint.
Govern your AI → Replaces tunneling toolsGive anything on localhost a real HTTPS address — dev previews, webhooks, self-hosted apps — without opening ports.
Expose a service → For homelabs & officesBridge your network into a LAN — printers, NAS, cameras, servers — reachable from any of your devices without agents on each.
Bridge a LAN →Invite teammates and their devices join the same private network automatically. Access Control restricts who can reach what, and SSO is available on Team plans and above. Start with your own three devices; grow to a company — same network, same rules.
The Free plan includes the private network for 3 people and 10 devices with 3 public service URLs — plus phone backups, storage, the AI Server and the AI Gateway. Paid plans add more devices and users, the internet and VPN gateways, and team features. See pricing.
Mac, Windows and Linux (desktops and servers), plus iPhone and Android. One agent per device — and every device gets a stable private IP address the others can use to reach its services.
No. Devices find each other behind different routers, carriers and continents — no port forwarding, no dynamic DNS, no certificates. That's the part HostAnywhere makes disappear.
Traffic between your devices is encrypted end to end. It flows peer-to-peer when possible; when a direct connection isn't possible it's relay-assisted — relays forward encrypted packets and cannot read their contents.
It gives you what many people want from a VPN — secure access to your devices and services from anywhere — without routing all your internet traffic through a commercial VPN provider. And when you do want a traditional VPN's behavior, the Internet Gateway gives you one that exits on hardware you control.
Those are the category labels, yes: devices communicate over encrypted tunnels — peer-to-peer whenever possible, relay-assisted when a direct connection isn't available (the "mesh") — and Access Control determines which devices and users can reach what (the "zero trust"). We just prefer plain language: a private network between your devices.
